In 1980, the F3 was the 3rd SLR camera developed by Nikon. New to the F3 was among others the manual and semi-automatic exposure control which should let the camera select the right shutter speed. The Nikon F3 had the most model variations of all Nikon cameras to date. This popular Nikon F3 High Point (HP), stood out because of its DE-3 High Eyepoint prism/finder. The finder made it possible to use the camera from a distance of 2.5cm, perfect for people wearing glasses during their trip!
